My ‘Stitch Drawings’ are also unique, ‘one-off’ pieces, of a smaller scale, often measuring around thirty or forty centimetres.
I draw with my stitching lines and paint the stitched fabric, print and make rubbings, using imagery that connects to the natural world and plant growth.
Box Frames:
These tiny drawing and textile studies are a new development for me. I occasionally enjoy working on a very different scale. They often echo visual developments in my larger works.
